Japanese Brand Vehicles

The Japanese automotive industry is one of the most prominent and largest industries in the world. Causing many Japanese manufacturers to break out of their shells and design their own vehicles. In the 1970s Japan was the pioneer in robotics manufacturing of vehicles.

The country is home to a number of companies that produce cars, construction vehicles, motorcycles, ATVs, and engines. Japanese automotive manufacturers include Toyota/Lexus, Honda, Daihatsu, Nissan, Suzuki, Mazda, Subaru, Isuzu, Mitsubishi.

Cars designed in Japan have won the European Car of the Year , International Car of the Year, and World Car of the Year awards many times. Japanese manufactured and designed vehicles have had worldwide influence, and no longer have the stigma they had in the 1950s and 1960s when they first emerged internationally.

Toyota:

Toyota is the most famous company in Japan. Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) is the parent company of Lexus, Daihatsu and Hino Motors along with other subsidiaries. TMC is part of the Toyota Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the world. Toyota has grown to a large multinational corporation from where it started and expanded to different worldwide markets and countries. Toyota displaced GM as the world’s top automaker.

Honda:

Honda was established in 1948 and its main businesses are car & motorcycle sales as well as manufacturing. Honda especially dominates the motorcycles markets in the world. Honda comes to third place in domestic sales in Japan and all cars are able to run well without any troubles as they are manufactured for rough and hard weather in all seasons. Nissan:

Nissan has manufactured a wide range of cars, vans and trucks and are well known throughout the world. Mazda:

Mazda is an enterprise that manufactures and sells passenger cars and trucks. It is the only company continuing to mass-produce cars that carry a Wankel engine in the world. Upholding the catchphrase “ZOOM-ZOOM”, Mazda is all about driving for fun and it is famous for manufacturing high quality environmentally friendly cars. Mitsubishi:

Such deals are called an OEM (original equipment manufacturer) agreement in the auto industry.

Isuzu:

Isuzu Motors is the world’s largest truck maker. The diesel engine of Isuzu is also used by Renault, Opel, GM, Honda, Toyota and Mazda, thus it is easier to repair than other brands. The engine is so popular worldwide, that the price for a truck and an Isuzu engine is almost the same. Hino:

Hino Motors is a subsidiary of Toyota Motor Corporation. It is a manufacturer of diesel trucks, buses and other vehicles in Toyota since 1973.
